- The ships are connected to the same maritime group, according to shipping data and British maritime security company Ambrey.
- Israel said Sunday the Tehran-allied Houthis seized a British-owned, Japanese-operated cargo ship in the southern Red Sea and describing the incident as an “Iranian act of terrorism.”
- Houthis has confirmed having seized a ship in that area but suggested it is Israeli.
