Former fitness instructor Richard Simmons on Monday clarified an earlier in which he suggested he was dying.
The 75-year-old Simmons said the comment was intended to refer to enjoying every day of life.
“Sorry many of you have gotten upset about my message today,” he wrote on social media. “I am not dying. It was a message about saying how we should embrace every day that we have. Sorry for this confusion.”
Simmons with his neon-colored workout attire and leg warmers was an ’80s icon.
