Texas Tech Basketball Coach Suspended For ‘Racially Insensitive Comment’

The comment was used by coach Mark Adams during a speech to players in which "referenced Bible verses about workers, teachers, parents, and slaves serving their masters."

  • Adams’ offensive comment, for which he has apologized, was allegedly a bible verse that upset a player.
  • The college said it suspended the men’s basketball coach for what it called “inappropriate, unacceptable, and racially insensitive comment.”

  •  The Red Raiders next and possible final game of the season is Wednesday against West Virginia in the first round of the Big 12 tournament.
