  • Five prominent Republican figures, namely Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, Senator Tim Scott from South Carolina, and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, have successfully met the qualifying criteria for the third Republican presidential debate. The debate is scheduled to take place on November 8 in Miami.
  • However, as of November 2, four days before the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) qualifying deadline for debate participation and with just 74 days remaining until the Iowa caucuses, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, and Texas pastor and business owner Ryan Binkley have not met the criteria to secure a spot on the debate stage.
  • Notably, former President Donald Trump, who is the clear frontrunner for a potential third consecutive GOP presidential nomination, will once again abstain from participating in the debate. Instead, he will host a concurrent campaign rally in Hialeah, situated approximately 15 miles from Miami, as he did for the previous two debates.
