Seeing actresses walking the red carpet in beautiful — and sometime outrageous — gowns is as much a part of Oscar night as is the awards ceremony.
Featured guest like Ryan Gosling, who is up for a grammy for playing the part of Ken in the huge 2023 box office success “Barbie” was among the first to arrive.
The event is being held at the Dolby Theatre, in Hollywood, and is preceded by the annual Vogue magazine pre-party, held this year at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
Among the films up for Best Picture are “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer.”
