• A few days ago word leaked that Elon Musk planned to slash 75 percent of Twitter’s workforce when he takes over the company, which could happen as early as this weekend.
• You have to hand it to the Twitter staff: They’re not going to leave quietly.
• They issued an open letter to Musk and the board of directors with a list of demands, starting with their “call on Twitter management and Elon Musk to cease these negligent layoff threats.”
• They also demanded, among other things, that Musk “commit to preserve our benefits.”
