As the billionaire founder of Facebook, MARK Zuckerberg is no strange face to the media attention. However, rumors of an underground bunker being built by him on the northeast side of Hawaii’s Kauai island have resulted in a frenzy of conspiracies on social media.

Recent reports suggest that the underground bunker could cost up to $270 million and is estimated to be roughly the size of a football field, covering an area of 57,000 square feet. Mark has been buying up land near his property to expand his building space, according to Business Insider.

Nevertheless, what will one find in this bunker? As per the investigation carried out by Wired, the underground bunker will have more than a dozen buildings, including a full-sized gym and an industrial-sized kitchen. It will also consist of at least 30 bedrooms, 30 bathrooms, multiple elevators, offices, conference rooms, and a tennis court.

The set-up further comprises several amenities like pools, a sauna, a hot tub, a cold polar plunge, and 11 intricately designed treehouses with rope bridges. Besides, the shelter will possess its energy and food supplies and a robust blast-resistant door, indicating a facility built with security in mind.

Despite the numerous reports circulating in the media about the underground bunker, workers have been quite discreet about the project. According to Wired, workers at the site had to agree not to speak about the bunker due to a non-disclosure agreement(MDA). The agreement reportedly covers workers of different trades, including security, carpenters, electricians, and painters.

“It’s fight club. We don’t talk about fight club,” one former contract employee mentioned, emphasizing on the level of secrecy surrounding the project. “Anything posted from here, they get wind of it right away,” the former employee added.

All in all, the underground bunker, with its luxurious setup and intricate structures, has raised several questions about the extent of the founder’s plan. However, only time will tell what lies ahead for MARK Zuckerberg’s underground concoction on the Hawaiian island.
