• A straphanger has been arrested for allegedly macing a “disorderly” man inside a Midtown subway station late Tuesday, police said.
• Alex Goddard, 31, was inside the 42nd Street-Port Authority subway station around 9:45 p.m. when he got into a dispute with a 50-year-old man, who was throwing items at passersby while there with pals, authorities said.
• Goddard was arrested at the scene and charged with reckless endangerment, assault and unlawful possession of a noxious matter, authorities said.
