Activists Make All-Out, Last Stand To Stop Arctic Oil Project, #Willow
Environmental and Indigenous activists have reportedly collected 2.5 million petition signatures to stop the project ahead of the Biden administration's final ruling expected as early as this week.

- Critics also rallied outside the White House on Friday, calling on President Biden to reject a major Arctic oil project, known as the Willow Project, that has been in development for years.
- They’ve also used social media including the hashtag #Willow and posts on TikTok.
- The project is proposed by ConocoPhillips and is approved would be the largest single oil development to proceed under the Biden administration.
- The project would provide the U.S. with more than 600 million barrels of oil over 30 years.
