The NFL regular season ends Sunday, which typically means several NFL head coaches will be fired the next day, know as “Black Monday.”
Among those expected to be fired is legendary New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, whose team finished 4-13.
Belichick has an NFL record six Super Bowls but has struggled in recent years after the departure of Pro Bowl quarterback Tom Brady, who has since retired.
Another well-know coach expected to be let go is Washington Commanders coach Ron Rivera.
Rivera has not had a winning record since getting the job in 2020, and he hasn’t finished above .500 as a head coach since 2017 with the Carolina Panthers.
Other coaches at risk of being released Monday are the Atlanta Falcons’ Arthur Smith and New York Jets’ coach Robert Saleh.
