- A search and rescue operation in underway Monday deep in the Atlantic Ocean for submersible vessel that carries people to view the wreckage of the Titanic.
- The vessel was reported overdue Sunday night, about 435 miles south of St. John’s, Newfoundland, according to Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
- The search is being led the U.S. Coast Guard in Boston with assistance from Canadian Coast Guard vessel and military aircraft
- OceanGate Expeditions said submersible can carry as many as five people, and there is reported at least on tourist onboard along with crew members.
