The Houthi movement is threatening a “firm, strong and effective” response to U.S. airstrikes in Yeman.

Overnight Sunday, the United States carried out another strike in Yemen, targeting a radar site.

The strike came just a day after dozens of American and British strikes on Houthi facilities in Yemen.

The strikes are in response the Palestinian-aligned movement attacking shipping vessels in the Red Sea.

Movement leaders say they are targeting only Israeli-affiliated vessels.

The attacks and responses have raised concerns about the Israel-Hamas conflict becoming a regional one.

President Joe Biden has reportedly sent a private message to Iran, which purportedly backs Houthi group, regarding the the terror-related group’s attacks. However, Biden has not said what he said in the message.
